Abstract: Silicone Ink Printing is a still a new thing, it can be used for the screen printing for many items, for example, garments, shoes, bags, gloves and socks ect. Because of its Eco-Friendly feature, it will be more and more widely used and would be good replacement for plastisol ink in future.

Today we will introduce silicone screen printing workmanship on peached fabric.

First, the things need to be prepared:

1. Silicone Ink (Including clear silicone ink, silicone pigment, silicone agents)

2. Screen Printing tools (including screen printing frame, squeegee, screen printing table)

3. Other accessories and items (iron, high temperature press paper, dryer)

Second the Silicone Printing Process:

There is one thing need to notice that the peached fabric is not flat on the surface, so it would need a special ironing process to make sure the printing surface is flat.

1. Add silicone fixing agent (catalyst) to silicone ink

The type of Silicone ink we choose here is round clear silicone. You may also use professional under base silicone ink for under base silicone printing.

2. Screen Print the Silicone Under Base Ink for 1~2 times.

Tips: To screen print under base silicone ink need to squeegee harder strengthen than usual.

3. Iron the Peached Fabric After Under Base Printing.

Tips: The Ironing strengthen also need to hard to make sure the the fabric printing surface super flat, especially for the peached fabric.

4. Screen Print the Under Base Silicone for another time after ironing.

5. Dry the Silicone printing by Flexible Dryer.

Tips: After each screen printing, the printing need to be laid nature dry for 1~2 minutes, then flash dry to flexible table dryer.

6. Screen Print the Pigmented Silicone Ink for 3-5 times.

Add to silicone pigment and silicone catalyst to clear silicone ink with appropriate ratio, mix well and stir evenly the pigmented silicone ink. Then start the pigmented silicone screen printing on fabric.

Tips: Pigment Silicone Printing use normal strengthen, each time screen printing with 2 squeegeeing.

7. Dry the Printed Pigmented Silicone Ink by Flexible Dryer each time 1~2 minutes after silicone printing.

8. Screen Print the Top Coat Silicone Ink for 2~times After Pigmented Silicone Printing.

Tips: Silicone Top Coat Printing strengthen need to be a little more slightly than normal strengthen.

9. Flash dry the printing 1~2 minutes after each top coat silicone printing.

10. Pack up the printed well pieces of fabric.

11. Dryer the silicone printed fabric by oven or by conveyor dryer for 2~3 minutes at centigrade 130.

12. Silicone Printing on Peached fabric is finished.
